Wow! We had an amazing night dining at Peck & Plume. We sat in the library area which was lovely and looked fabulous with the Christmas decorations. We ordered the Pork & Pimento Cheese Dip, Bone-In Short Rib, NY Strip Steak, and the Lavender Crème Brûlée. All menu items were outstanding. Our waiter, Tristen, did an amazing job. He did magic for us at our table, he is basically the Michael Jordan of servers. I highly recommend Peck & Plume and will definitely be returning.
Let me just tell you, run, don't walk to make your reservations for this place. It was Amazing!!! We were there about 1.5 hours for a party of 5, but that's pretty normal for a good restaurant. It's inside The Mayton hotel in downtown Cary.. Shrimp and Grits Fish Tacos x 2 NY Strip Stripped Bass with Collard Bourbon Caramel Apple Tart Chocolate Sin Cake Lavender Crème Brūlee Not pictured- Pimento cheese and pulled pork dip with fried pita chips * I don't even like pimento THIS WAS GREAT!! Collard Egg Rolls- a little on the spicy side but sooo good. Second visit= New Menu. The Salmon was the best dinner I've literally ever had. The rice and squash was paired perfectly. The ribeye was delicious- but he did mention the NY strip was better. Focaccia bread with tomato and squash was a good starter. Finally, my nephew got the burger that he said was great. He wasn't expecting the double burger and had to separate them. Another meal, Another Win for Peck & Plume
Fantastic ambience and food.. Not to mention an amazing "You're a Dream to Me" cocktail. They've also restored my faith in smash burgers with their Mayton Burger. It was actually medium instead of [past] well done at other places. Very well executed! The appetizers were also good... The wings, skillet cornbread and cheese board were great The service.. Spectacular and entertaining! I will definitely be back
First time dining here and the experience was unforgettable! The server was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. We got the Brussels sprouts and cheese board and both were delicious and unique! The entrees were flavorful, delicious, and cooked to perfection (meat dish and fish dish). The toffee cake dessert was one of the most unique and exquisite desserts I have ever had. All the food was executed perfectly. We dined indoors but they did have a heated Lanai which looked warm and inviting. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We will definitely be back.
Had a great experience from start to end. I sat on the library section and atmosphere was perfect. Had the cornbread and Chicken Ballotine. Both amazing dishes. Will be back if I’m ever in the area again!
Stumbled upon this place while trying to kill some time. Nice restaurant. Definitely on the more upscale side. Menu was a little limited but the food was delicious and the ingredients tasted fresh. The wings were honestly so delicious I’d go back tomorrow just to get more. I wish I remembered to take a picture before they were all gone. The blueberry pie was a perfect end to our meal. Would probably come back if we were in the area.
Lovely restaurant where a friend and I couldn't decide which appetizer, so we ordered almost all of them for dinner. It was fabulous! Everything was delicious and the service was amazing! We got dessert to go since we were so full but couldn't choose just one dessert either!
Every time I have been here the food is super fresh, different (rotating based on seasonal produce availability), unique and absolutely delicious - I especially appreciate the multiple vegetarian options! The atmosphere is beautiful as well, perfect for a romantic date night. The interior is very vintage elegant and the exterior seating has a beautiful view of the downtown park, along with heat lamps and a retractable screen for the colder months. Can't say enough good things about this place!
Unforgettable experience! Server, Rachel P., was so knowledgeable about the menu and truly went out of her way to make sure I had the best dining experience and stay at The Mayton Inn. Clair was our talented server one evening in the library. She was wonderful and made our experience very special. Savannah took care of my whole family for dinner one night and she made it a perfect experience. Jacob was so welcoming and fun behind the bar and made us drinks with presence and flair (pictured). The food was so delicious so I must say, "Compliments to The Chef!" Everything they brought out was a delicacy, true talent there. I especially loved the Cobia Cruda, corn bread, beef tartare, burger and chickpea socca. Also, big shout out to Russel, Thomas and Paul for helping me during my stay. They were kind, generous and accommodating. This is my favorite place to stay and to dine when I am visiting Cary and Raleigh. I can't wait to come back!
Me and My girlfriend went here for our one year anniversary and got brunch and it was a amazing experience. I loved the atmosphere and the food was delicous. I got chicken and waffles and they were excellently cooked and served very nicely. Well done Peck and Plume!
